The Arrows Resort
Eco Resort in Goa

"The Arrows Resort" stands as an architectural gem nestled in the serene hills of Corgao, Goa, India. Strategically positioned between the international airport and Arambol Beach, this resort offers a breathtaking view of the picturesque mouth of the Terekhol River and the sea, providing guests with a unique and captivating experience.

The fundamental inspiration behind this resort lies in the fusion of aesthetics and functionality. The rooms, designed as arrowhead-shaped funnels, expand the panoramic view towards the valley. The four overlapping shells create an internally illuminated space by natural light, ensuring maximum visual privacy.

The distinctive slope of the shells not only contributes to an iconic design but also efficiently channels monsoon waters. Clad in a second skin made of thatch, these shells not only shade the main structure but also facilitate natural ventilation in the space between the two surfaces, contributing to maintaining a comfortable temperature.

The ground floor opens up to a private pool strategically positioned below ground level to ensure maximum privacy. A spacious covered terrace at the entrance invites guests to relax, while the upper floor rooms offer a spectacular view of the valley and the sea.

The alternating layout of the villas ensures uninterrupted views for each of the 54 units, thanks also to the tapered aerodynamic shape of the units that doesn't obstruct the sight of the neighboring villas. The main building, located at the entrance, houses a welcoming lobby, offices, and services, along with a spacious restaurant overlooking a long pool with wooden platforms for open-air relaxation.

The public pool, a focal point of the resort, extends longitudinally, punctuated by two-lined islands and wooden platforms, providing a space for leisure and relaxation. Along the resort's edges, three naturalistic water features welcome various fish and plant species, contributing to the creation of an eco-friendly environment.

All the pathways and pedestrian surfaces that traverse the entire landscape, including the water pools, are covered of laterite, a typical red-colored stone from Goa with a particularly abrasive surface reminiscent of tuff.

In conclusion, "The Arrows Resort" aims to be the flagship of sustainable eco-villages in the Goa region. A refuge of tranquility and beauty where guests can distance themselves from the noise and hustle of nearby Arambol Beach parties, immersing themselves in a luxury experience that is both eco-conscious and panoramic.
