Bitcoiner House

Living to the maximum the outdoor spaces and enjoying the beautiful garden; this is in short the program for this house in the bahamas.
The design is simple as the program, a spacious living platform on the shadow of a large roof platform.
The dialogue between those two elements create the entire house design. The roof made of light coloured concrete touches the dark concrete of the lower platform thanks to “fluid” pyramidal extensions that makes the two rigid horizontal elements melting into each other.
The lower platform function is to host three independent bedrooms, a swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen, a living space, a small water channel refilling the pool and many holes for the garden to pass through with trees and bamboo.
The upper roof platform sustained by the lower concrete snags hosts several channels directioning the water into the lower floor where another channel brings it into the pool.
The house is floating several feet over the ground to avoid the humidity and the eventual hurricane floods. The large roof also protects the house from the sun and the frequent afternoon heavy showers.
